Ms. Nelson, Chief Experience Officer of Gloria Nelson Event Design, LLC, has been involved in corporate, social and nonprofit event design for three decades.  Her experience in working with Fortune 100 companies, as well as entrepreneurial and small corporate concerns, nonprofit organizations and social clients gives her broad-based meeting and event marketing knowledge.  Background experience includes meeting and event management, trade show planning, nonprofit event marketing and public relations.

Prior to relocating to Wisconsin in 2000, Gloria owned and operated a boutique event and public relations firm, headquartered in Barrington, Illinois.  Since relocating to Northeastern Wisconsin, she successfully launched the Sprint PCS Wireless Northeastern Wisconsin which included all advertising, public relations, VIP Receptions, Public Grand Openings and good-will nonprofit alliances within six new markets.

Briefly aligned with another event planning firm, Nelson collaborated on the Grand Opening Gala of the new Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, Wisconsin.  Her fastidious attention to detail, knowledge of high-end rental access and impeccable design attributes all left their imprint on the look of the event in every finite detail.

Gloria has also worked on other high profile events in the Midwest including a professional football team’s events and the largest fundraiser for the Experimental Aircraft Association that has garnered industry awards submitted without reference to event originator and judged by peers throughout the United States and other ISES Chapter members worldwide.
